Salty Fusion thrives on the efforts of a few volunteers who want to share their love of dance and movement with you.
Lucy (she/her), originally from Australia, has her dance roots in ballet and contemporary dance. She sparked her joy of partner dance with Lindy Hop, Balboa and Blues, and found her happy place in fusion where she could combine all of her experience together to freely express herself and connect with her dance partners. where she could combine all of her experience together to freely express herself and connect with her dance partners. She is currently learning Tango.
Lucy is passionate about dance, and loves inspiring others to move their bodies. She’s taught adult ballet classes, years of Pilates, was a founding member of the Firefly Fusion Team in Berlin, which kickstarted the current fusion scene in Berlin, and co-organises the Fusionauts’ Quest fusion dance festival.
Robin (he/they), grew up in Salzburg, and discovered partner dance through Lindy Hop in 2012. This was quickly followed by blues and fusion dance.
Robin has been teaching since 2016, however continues his passion for learning new dance styles. His style is influenced by his training in contemporary dance, contact improvisation, Brasillian Zouk and Tango.
Robin organized his first festivals in 2016 when he helped realize Twilight Blues and Fusion in Amsterdam. He’s currently part of the team organising Fusionauts’ Quest in Berlin, and is bringing his favourite dance style to his home town.
Next to dancing and organising, Robin is often traveling Europe as a DJ.
