Lucy [she\/her] (above) und Robin [he\/they] (left) are bringing their collective many years of dance experience to Salzburg.

Lucy, originally from Australia, has her dance roots in ballet and contemporary dance. She sparked her joy of partner dance with Lindy Hop, Balboa and Blues, and found her happy place in fusion where she could combine all of her experience together to freely express herself and connect with her dance partners.
<\/p>\n

Robin, from Salzburg, also started his partner dance journey with Lindy Hop and Blues dance, quickly also finding the emerging fusion scene in Europe. He now enjoys learning tango, zouk, kizomba and bringing those influences into his dance and his teaching.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Fusion is heavily influenced by Queer culture. Most fusion dancers learn to both lead and follow, and will choose or change dance roll depending on the mood, their partner, or which role they enjoy the most. The international Fusion Scene (and us!) place big value in a consent culture, as well as having an openness and respect for other dancers and dance partners.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This August, we’re inviting you to an Introduction to Fusion Dance Workshop. We want to share our love for this dance form with you, showing you some basics and some ideas to play with in your dance.<\/p>\n

Fusion dance is a solo\/partner\/group dance form, without the bullsh*t: no gender roles, everyone learns to lead and follow, as well as how to break out of these roles and into the flow. <\/p>\n

Join us on August 18th at 19:00 at HOSI Salzburg. After the ca. 90 Minute Workshop there will be an open dance floor until 22:00, as well as the chance to relax and chill in the cosy atmosphere. <\/p>\n

How much does the fun cost? Participation is by donation (we suggest 5-15 euros, depending on your means), but you’re also welcome to join for free.
